Why It Is Important to Dream BIG

When I was a child, I dreamt to be a fashion designer and create beautiful dresses that made women look like goddesses. I can remember I must have been as young as 6 years old. I looked up to the likes of Lagerfeld, Versace and Mugler. I still find old scribbles in the attic of my parents and endless roles of fabrics, piles of buttons and lace stowed away in boxes. That dream I continuously held on to, turned into reality at age 19 when I started my tailoring education and alongside had my own atelier where I individually created business attire for my private customers like TV hosts and businesswomen at Grünberger Str. in Berlin Friedrichshain. Three years later I studied fashion design and after four years I proudly held my BA degree in my hands!

While in my late teens, I found another passion = practicing fitness and Aerobics. So as another income source next to tailoring I explored my potential in giving sports classes. The perfect combination of working out and getting paid for what you enjoy! Loved it! That combination of fashion design and teaching classes was the beginning of my international successful career in the world of sports apparel and in the world of mindset coaching. I turned women globally into proud and strong sport goddesses and elevated individuals in career and goal setting to reach high potential.

Do you see what happened? Can you see what started it?

I dreamt. I dreamt big and I dreamt continuously until that very dream turned into reality. Because what happens when you dream is that your mind, your body and every inch of you inside and outside is committed. And ultimately it turns into a lifestyle of living, breathing, eating. Without pressure, but with passion and purpose. Consciously created by you, for you.

sign saying you don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great

When your dream turns into reality, you live the life you love. And then it’s all about becoming. It’s a steady progress over time in where you find your biggest and highest potential. Your uniqueness. And when that uniqueness has room to show, this is when you feel as complete as complete can be.

How To Start Dreaming Big

So here’s how it goes:

1-) Open your heart and dream without limits. Make a list of what you like to achieve. Whatever you want … from starting your own business over getting a pay rise to becoming the best parent ever.

2-) Put it on paper. When you write it down, it becomes more tangible and clear.

3-) Dig deeper. Which one of the written down dreams is the one that resonates the most with you? Which one makes your heart sing, lightens up your eyes and tingles in your tummy? What would it take for you to turn this dream into reality?

4-) Clarify the next steps. Where are you right now? Reflect on your inner state of mind. On your current financial situation. On the people you’re surrounded with. Your health. Know yourself as much as you can to understand where you need to go.

5-) Live intentionally. Once you know yourself and the possibilities you have, it will be easy to clarify your purpose. It’s your motivational force to pull through, to make it happen and to have your goal in eyesight.

6-) Stay motivated. To stay motivated it helps to keep yourself on track. Do something that brings you closer to your goal everyday, for a certain amount of time. Your mindset will align and you automatically start to take action towards your goal. If you feel you can’t do it on your own, have an accountability partner. A family member, a friend, your coach – a person who you can share your journey with and who will support you to reach the next level.

I am looking forward to hearing of your journey.
Never stop dreaming!

Namaste,
Yvonne
